Welcome to the Project SAN Nariño. We seek to contribute to food security of indigenous and vulnerable communities, producers of potato, in Nariño, generating scientific information for the design and development of public policies and strengthen scientific capabilities in Colombia and Canada.

 

This project is being developed by the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and McGill Univesity in Canada; with support from the Organization Pro del Surco Nariño, located in Nariño, Colombia; the International Potato Center based in Lima and the University of New Brunswick from Canada. 

 

This project is funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) from the Canadian Government through the Canadian International Food Security Research Fund (CIFSRF).
